@Victory04 I live in Holland, which was oppressed by Germany during WWII. Many of my family were killed in Holland or Germany in the war, and even I think the way people think about Germany now is unfair. Germany is and has always been a great country... even when bad people ruled or divided the nation, there were still many good Germans. I say: forgive and forget, but don't forget to remember...

Unbelievable that this song is so misunderstood by some people!! It's about Germans AFTER the war and the new generations. It's about that we shouldn't forget our REAL heritage despite what Germany-haters want others to think about us. There was a Germany before the early 20s century that was up until then known for so many other things! Germany brought wonderful painters, musicians, philosophers, scientists and writers into this world, into the pool of humankind. XOXO to Germany.
