I am married to a Japanese woman. I am African-American. It's not racism. Its just the parents want their kids to marry someone the parents like. They are not thinking about their children's feelings. Look at my "misunderstanding" video. I had this very convo with a Japaenese father.

Why didn't this get release in American Theater... Danny Glover is a A list actor

Son dies in Japan and the Dad goes to collect things. Racial differences abound in Japan anyway & he is black. Son was well loved school teacher, had a kid by local who suffered the abuse from others for the coco jin kid & husband. Ok movie, the lead actor was stiff until later. Who was that young, party ready, Japanese girl! Wow, she was a find. Maybe Hapa kids would want to see it.

@pumpfever This is the theme song, "The Terminal, in your arms" sung by Misono. The movie is also available at iTunes with the title of the Harimaya Bridge.
