My DIY Panohead. I used 2 steppers Nema 17, a Benro gimbal head, gears from Nanotec and a very low power UMPC (Raon Everun). The GUI has full controll over the 5D Mark II (by EDSDK) and it can shoot panos with bracketing.
I expect your opinion/suggestion/advice.

  • try smoothing the motion with bezier curves.harsh stops and starts make it wobble, if it still wobbles after smoothing, tighten all loose joints in your hardware setup.

  • ابداع..thats mean"creatve"

  • @gobacktorussia No, the center should be where the image sensor or film is. That is the point which shouldn't move, only pan, tilt or rotate. :)

  • hm...i wouldn't call this panorama head :)) the term "pan-tilt" head fits it better

  • very very nice, All I would say is have you considered the positioning of the camera? should the end of the lens not be the center of rotation? I'm tired so can't think how it should be

  • Wow, that's simply awesome! What is the estimated price?
