Richtig so Guido! Wir sind hier in Deutschland und es ist schon schlimm genug dass die ganzen Ausländer unsere Sprache missbrauchen, dann müssen nicht auch noch von außen alle versuchen unsere Kultur zu verändern.

And?What's the problem? It's good to see Germany now has the self-confidence it and its people deserve.Germany is a huge country, with over 80 million people and German is the most spoken language in Europe,10th most in the world!!This is not Polish or something useless.Only a German woudl demonise Mr Westerwelle for this.Good on him!Greetings from the UK

fair enough. not untypical of BBC correspondents to have plenty of BBC experience and be posted abroad for loyalty and experience rather than knowlegde of the place - and language - in question. Trouble is the BBC won't get away with it much longer as too many other media organisations actually bother to preference people with local knowledge. About time someone stood up to media laziness in this way.

I think that Westerwelle is right !
Germanys politics has been opressed since the WW2 now germany has to start thinking diferent and show the world, that germany is something and not a little country that donates money.

I think he is right, because normally a big news channel send a reporter to soch an event who speaks the language of the country. Now I ask me :"Why not in these case?"

i guess it's a typical german attitude to demonize everything that could affront the internaional society.
since the ww2 many leftist journalists try to destroy the german culture. they constitute different acts or things "bad" because they are german or were done by germans.

greetings from germany
excuse my english skills i'm 16 years old
