The Meeting by Jeff Stetson Pt 4

Several years ago I was afforded the opportunity to play Malcolm X in a stage-play written by Jeff Stetson entitled, The Meeting. The Meeting is a fascinating play, imagining what might have been, had a dialogue ever occurred between Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drawing on many of the actual words of each man, it shows excellent insight into each, and also into how having the courage to speak to and listen to others can help us find common ground and new solutions, even if such dialogues come at a personal cost. I truly enjoyed working on this stage play with these individuals.
