This is a piece of video I found of the weekly Provinicial lottery that offered a top prize of $500,000. The Provinicial was a $5 lottery ticket good for five weeks giving players 5 chances at $500,000 each Friday. "You'll Love Fridays" was the catchy theme tune that ran on radio station and TV commercials then. There is also a quick look at the drawings of Bonus Numbers that the game would do occassionally. This is reminiscent of how lottery games were done in Ontario, very elaborate, showy, and with cummunity involvement. Today the games are still drawn the same, but with little fanfare as no audience stuff ever happens any longer.
