The semi-finals of the men's teams division of the 2009 World Kendo Champs, between Korea and Japan. After Japan's defeat to the US in the 13th WKC, Korea were somewhat disappointed not to have faced Japan on the way to their historic win. This time they get their chance. Sempo match.
韓国の選手は1本取られたあとの態度が見苦しい。もっとも大切な武道の心構えがひん曲がってます。

Nice. That arrogant, over-aggressive チョン had the nerve to look at the shimpan as if that wasn't a valid point...

@solo5000 i would definitely like to watch you go against shodai and try to hit his do
that would be pretty damn funny

Not sure if it would be against the federation's rules, but I would like to see Korea written in Hangul on either side of the Taegeukgi, an added traditional element.

@epocheaven agreed. That's how the Korean nationals play though. They can't read the opponent but then again, so can't the opponent. Their aggressive, close range style makes the game very physical. Considering that Korean nationals do much more physical fitness training (rather than skill training) than the Japanese, it does seem like a valid strategy. After all, they are strong contenders of the competition. They're not stupid.

korea seems way to aggressive in this match. attacking at every moment; not properly reading the oponent and seme.
just my thoughts
