Phillipe tried to bait Kron to take the armbar so that he could roll out of it and escape the mount. It is a risky technique in which you realize that your opponent has very good mount control and the only way for you to escape is to almost put yourself in a worst situation. I have done it many times but it's a risk you take, especially when your opponent is as good as Kron and has latched on to your arm so firmly.

You know what I love about Kron's game? It's so basic and old school!!!!!!!! He's beating guys with the pure basics and it's making a clear statement about Gracie Jiujitsu.

@cerfani I agree with everything except jumping guard, I do it if I feel I cant get the take down. It works pretty good.

not beautiful?! i guess evryone's entitled to an opinion, but what do you want him to do? u want him to jump guard or go for cartwheel passes, that shit doesnt work against legit fighters, kron's style is not based on being flashy, it's based on self defense and using techniques that are the most effective. go see rickson roll. when it comes to martial arts, more is less, i think you know very little about martial arts, bruce lee said honestly expressing yourself is the hardest thing to do
