@bieberMAN93 The fast tones are perfectly clear! They are using AUTHENTIC instruments with cat-gut strings, therefore they aren't as crisp as the awful metal strings used on modern instruments. They add tones and vary because that's called IMPROVISATION!!! ALL Baroque musicians were EXPECTED to improvise tones into the piece to liven it up. Especially in the slow movements!!! This performance would have been accepted back then as correct and Vivaldi was a great improviser himself.

@Mercer1012 generally true but you can over do everything, and they did it! this is not baroque its that fast the tones are't clear enough anymore. and vivaldi was way anhead of his time, with his music being rather classic than baroque anyway. and thes musicans are not only to fast and un clean, they also add tones and vary, WHY?! do they think they can do better than vivaldi himself? every change can only make it worse again, because this music is perfect in its form an harmonie!

@bieberMAN93 I disagree sir! This is an aid to Vivaldi's music. The modern orchestras like the Berlin Philharmonic play this so SLOW with NO expression. Vivaldi played like this. Thats why his nickname was ""The madman". Baroque music wasnt meant to be played precisely to the beat and was often, in the case of the Italians, played faster rather than slower. I disagree with you again, sir.
