The Mets should of gave him the contract extension that he wanted.... sure hes old but he should have another good 2 seasons left in him, plus I dont care what anyone says, he can hit, he hit .274 and had an amazing .374 OBP, thats amazing for a PINCH HITTER. Also its good to have a big black guy on the team, especially Sheff, hes a leader and a fighter, and gave us Mets fans a milestone to be proud of (1st player to reach 500 hr in a Mets uniform). I miss you Sheffy!
