On Wednesday, February 10th, LGBT activist Kitty Lambert attempts to receive a marriage license from the Buffalo City Clerk's office. Denied, she then turns to the crowd where a willing gay male steps forward.

@jonagotdeleted It's to point out that she's denied when trying to marry someone she's known for years upon years and lived with successfully, but is able to marry some random guy she just met.

@MissKimberley and for the record I hate to play the ignorance card, though at this point don't know how else to refer to those who are determined to control the lives of others and piss all over The Constitution in the process.

So glad this couple was able to get married as of today.
The religious right will never give up trying to control everyone's lives, Fundamentalist Christians have this inferiority complex of sorts where they want to rule everyone with an iron fist and make even non Christians live under biblical law.
Marriage isn't, nor was it ever a strictly religious issue... they are simply too ignorant to understand that.

I LOVE this idea... I want to do this in my hometown. When is was illegal for a black and a white to marry, 2/3 of the nation was against it. The court stepped in and made it legal and now, it sounds absurd that a black & a white would not be able to wed. This will be the thinking of our posterity in 50 years. It will seem absurd that we felt certain people should be kept from marriage.
