I made this video to demonstrate generally what is involved in the making of my segmented wooden bowls. The bowl I am demonstrating is the Eight Wood Santa Fe. The six woods in the "sides" of the bowl are purpleheart, yellowheart, padauk, canarywood, wenge, and holly. The bottom of the bowl is zebrawood and the foot is bloodwood which makes eight, hence the name Eight Wood Santa Fe.

  • Bernie, that was a very encouraging video. I have not attempted a segmented bowl but i think that it will be my next project. Thank you very much.

  • Bernie,

Thanks very much for sharing your segmented techniques.

Your work is terrific, there are a few things you are doing that I cannot figure out how you did them.

I will give you a call soon, I enjoy sharing techniques and general conversation with other segmented Turner's

    Thanks again, Neil
