Lore-wise, the Emerald Dream is now impossible to achieve because of what they did with the Ysera the Dreamer. However, gathering what we all know of Blizzard sticking to lore, it'll still be done. But man did they screw the pooch by making Mists of Pandaria instead. Sure, people have wanted Pandarens since BC, but I can guarantee 10x more people wanted the Emerald Dream.

I've been wondering, what is the point of making Mists of Pandaria anyways? Whenever I saw a Pandaren in Warcraft 3 I had to take a route to some sort of hard to reach area to find one, why make them common? I don't think they have any lore too whatsoever. Then again, WoW has killed off some of the best characters of Warcraft, might as well expose the mysterious humanoid pandas ~3~

@iFusion13 ROFL u think the reason they made an expansion for the pandaren is because of the pets? Eh no. They were made a part of the game in Warcraft 3 when an easter egg appeared showcaseing the Pandaren Brewmaster and the PANDAMONIEUM phrase, a dissapointment really, The Emerald Dream would of been a much better expansion than the garbage they are giving us now, and they dont have to give us a new race or class for an expansion id rather take the stupid dks away and get more lore

@MrKusura Meh. I prefer pandaren, mainly because the Emerald Dream would need a lot more time than a year of cata to be able to have the potential of a perfect expansion. Plus, what new race/class would come from an expansion like this? It'd have to be something that makes sense, and is relevant to lore. The Pandaren, after having so much interaction with the little pets they gave us, it never raised the question of, "What if?" Only time will tell if Emerald Dream will become an expansion.
