Leonheart324's Summer Mapping Contest Entry 2 - Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate

The map is 45X45, therefore in the medium category!
This is my second mapping entry for Leonhert324's summer mapping contest... It's also a village in my game Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate. I made another entry because I realised the competition was really starting to heat up and so many more good maps were coming out of no where... So that's why I decided to make another map. That and I want to win. ^_^ Oh, I have noticed the few mistakes in the map but oh well for that.

If you're wondering why the water looks weird - That's because there is spiritual energy flowing from the water. Lumeni is supposed to be a calm and magical village so hope you enjoy it!

And for fans out there, Lunar Wish could POSSIBLY be finished sometime in October meaning beta testing for a mounth or less... And that will mean Lunar Wish could be released in November :D

do you use swap tiles script? because I do in my game. But nice town, I like the tint, the lights, the leafs effects and the mapping. I like these kind of maps with the dark tint with colorful lights. I have to give this map 10/10

Wow! This is really good! And I this is from now I suppose my favorite map of all! It´s because it´s soo magical and colorful. One question: About your maps, do you plan your maps? Because I do but they never turns out as I wanted them to. I have tested my mapping. I can map just like this now, I know how to use the effect and the cliffs. I really love to make maps like this. But rightt now I am making a more RTP project. I would like to make a project with maps like this in the future.

@luiishu535 For slightly larger maps, I draw them on paper before I make it... But for smaller maps like these I plan it in the actual rpg maker and I keep editting the map and improving it until I am satisfied... I also need to know what type of map I am making before I make it. For example, whether it is a dark map, lonely, happy, etc...

That map is astounding! Really good job with the mapping. Really like the light effects on the butterflies! I have one really quick question about the rivers and pond. How do you produce that sort of glow effect? Is it picture, fog, lights or something else? xD

@Tam88888888 lol, eveyone is asking me that question. It's mack tilesets and I mixed it with a few other tile chips (XP tiles) myself!

One of my favorite maps. Very creative, full of energy, despite the dark feel from the tint, and I sorta want that fountain. xD

But I noticed a few odd tiles, like the giant flower trees,  and a few XP tiles. Did you use any tileswap scripts? Or did you break up the tilesets in charactersets (that's what I do)?

And curious, why are most people using Adela's tileset? I noticed that in quite a few maps. :P
