Yeah, Romney's decisions to outsource jobs to China, and his bank accounts in the Cayman islands, reeeeaaaalllllyyyy promote economic growth.

Mitt Romney and his wife paid a lower effective rate than my family paid as well. The important discussion is not what he paid or what is fair. The important point is what tax code promotes the most economic growth, not fairness. Investment income, and carried interest, where most of Mitt Romney's income is derived from has been rightfully taxed at a lower rate because investment promotes economic growth. An important part of a country's dynamism is the availability of affordable capital.

But in Romneys mind, the more money you indicates how great a man you are. His smile says it all

So far Romney has only released 1 years worth of tax returns and he has even admitted that he paid a rate of 13.6% which is less than the effective tax rate of 21% that I paid last year in federal taxes. That he doesn't want to release several years of his tax records as all presidential candidates have done for the last 30 years tells me, as a voter, that he has something to hide.

    False, false, false ad.

#1 Mitt Romney's effective tax rate is higher than most Americans. Half of the American public doesn't pay any federal income taxes.

#2 Mitt Romney didn't negotiate a 'golden parachute'. He has a generous retirement package, that was negotiated because he was the founder. Bain was sorry to see him go.
