Footage of MJ's visit to Africa, 1992. MJ visited villages, hospitals, schools, orphanages and local tribes. He shook hands, hugged and kissed hundreds of people in hospitals and institutions for the mentally ill. He came off the plane in Gabon, a West African neighbor nation of Senegal, he was greeted by an excited, screaming crowd of grade-school students who carried a banner that proclaimed: "Welcome Home Michael." Drum sounds again filled the air with rhythm that flowed from fans who gathered at the airport and lined the streets in anticipation of seeing the "king of pop, rock and soul," who would later be crowned "King Sani" in a West African village. MJ recalls his visit in Ebony Magazine, 1992: "When we came off the plane we were greeted by a long line of African dancers. Their drums and sounds filled the air with rhythm. I was going crazy, I was screaming, "All right! They got the rhythm... This is it. This is where I come from. The origin."'

  • Come on people! I love MJ, I love Africa and I'm white, please don't generalise.

We are all humans, no matter our skin colour is.

That's why MJ fought all his life ! Don't forget about this, don't break his fight and what he has done for the world.

  • michael is the shyt, and he is so proud to be black, but he is about unity and love, because we are all the same regardless of skin color, we are human beings, created in God's image. im black, but like our lovely michael, i too am color blind. i have always wanted to go to the motherland, so michael, if your in africa, im coming to see you!!! i love you.
