A wagon town leads to a large influx of new fighters. Some useful. Some not.

Commentary:
0:05 - A clarification: "Balbazak" is not the name of the fortress. It's the name of the person who holds it.
0:22 - Remember that thing? Well, guess what? It's in your party now! JOGURT is...awful, just awful. All his stats except Move are 1, his level is 1, he can always promote, but it does nothing. He's a joke character. Killing an enemy with Jogurt nets you a Jogurt Ring, which makes the wearer look like Jogurt and can be used to make allies also look like him. Needless to say, I don't use him at all.
0:42 - Ah, Promotion. The great debate of the ages. You can promote at level 10. Doing so changes your class, resets it to level 1, allows you to use more weapons, and your level-ups are much stronger in general. The downside is your stats drop down a bit. You can go to level 20 without promoting, and level 40 after.
0:42 - (more). If you promote right at level 10, you can lose about 10 potential levels of stat increases. Therefore, several guides tell you to wait until level 20 to promote. If you're planning on grinding the heck out of the game, then yes, do this. However, it's not needed. You don't need to be anywhere near level 40 (or even 20) to beat the game, and if you're just playing through without leveling, not promoting costs you some huge level ups. As a general rule, I promote casters and people without weapons as soon as I can (casters learn spells a tiny bit faster, and bare-handed fighters get the huge level-ups they need sooner), and hold off on promoting everyone else until they need a promotion to use a weapon. The new weapon more than makes up for the stat drop. So right now, I just promote Zylo, despite Mae and Ken being eligible too.
0:54 - That's "Wolf Baron", I believe.
2:35 - That was an interesting conversation, and some pretty key information too.
2:55 - Bread of Life increases HP.
3:17 - Since Zylo really needs the attack boost now, he gets the Power Ring.
3:37 - Long Swords for your fighter and birds, a Power Spear for Pelle, and an extra...you'll see why.
5:06 - Isn't that special? Well, we don't need more centaurs.
5:21 - Legs of Haste increase speed.
5:58 - Once you say yes, the town goes away. So be sure you're ready. The priest and HQ will stay, however.
6:22 - Uh...right. Hey, I remember you! KOKICHI may not look like much right now, but he's a flying knight. Yes. He flies, and he can use a ranged weapon. If you don't appreciate how awesome that is, your loss. If you didn't talk to him back in Bustoke, he doesn't show up now.
6:42 - You can say either yes or no, if you say no, you find out he was fired for sleeping on guard duty. VANKAR is probably the worst knight you get (even Arthur has potential, and Ken has his HP total going for him), so a good place for him is headquarters.
7:15 - Pelle comes in for Ken, because Pelle is just so much better than Ken. Kokichi comes in for Luke because you only really need one Warrior, and Gort is better. Kokichi's mobility more than make up for the loss of defense (plus Mae and Pelle play great defense as well). Vankar sits, for reasons previously explained. Jogurt won't see anything close to battle.

  • how did you get jogurt to pao? he never appered when i was there

  • @beetle1890 You may have to talk to him in Chapter 1 to get him to show up here.

  • @UsaSatsui i did talk to him but he wasn't there in pao

  • @beetle1890 Well, you need to walk up to the spot up there, and then he'll stand up and fall back down. At that point you have him, check headquarters. If he's still not in your party...No idea.

  • @UsaSatsui i found the spot in this video but in my game he still wasn't there

  • @beetle1890 You can only get him at the start of the chapter.

Other than that...well, no idea, sorry. You aren't missing much.
