Thank you so much for sharing your amazing story.  It is so hard to just let go and trust God's will, and not try to control everything in life. You have inspired me and given me hope more than you could ever know.

@retrodisc1 I am so glad to know I have exhortred you! God is good, he was good when I had cancer, when I lost my wife, when I got PTSD, when I lost my business and he is good today. He never lost control even though I did.

I'm 32 yrs old and I do consider myself tough just like a normal man should.. No, I'm trying to sound like a bad ass there. But part 1 and now part 2 actually made me shed some tears but in a good way. Its nice to see a man such as yourself share these deep emotional and passionate feelings. Keep it up brother God has a greater plan for you than you can imagine. I know at least for me it made me reflect and consider how and when and where my life is where it is today. Thank you again.

truly blessed by the power of God. I'm so glad you found not just a very pleasant place to live but a home. So much passion and intensity, that is one powerful message. The true voice of God cannot be heard by mortals, if it cant this is awful close to it. Thank you brother.

@ThePhilipjfrylock Yes it is paradise on earth and I can attest that God does speak to us; mostly through his word. I find the more I read my Bible, the easier it is to distinguish between what are clearly my thoughts and what are his words. My only rule of thumb on the voice of God is that it MUST agree completely with the canon (entirity) of scripture, not just one verse taken out of context.
