Cut out After Effects Animation, Serenity Blue, NSAD 2007

This is an animation which I created in the 2nd year of the Animation course at NSAD. The images in the animation are inspired by William Morris's Interior Designs and architecture, bringing the concept of the garden into the room.

damn bro.. you gatta post a tutorial for me lol.. Im desperately trying to learn after effects so i can incorporate it in my animations..

Love After Effects, still learning myself and don't find it easy. I used watercolour drawings and some drawn animation (bird, plants) as well as using AE to animate other elements. Its a combination of several techniques, took ages to do especially the pattern. We have lessons at NSAD which is really good. I also have many books and I also learn just by playing around really, trial and error. My advice would be to buy a book and look at the many online tutorials and have a play. Good Luck.
