Diddy Kong Racing - Wizpig Race 1 - Diddy

I think I'm going to give away the trick to winning this race on the N64 version in the way I did it. First off, you need to know that if you release the acceleration button right before a zipper, you get a greenish boost that is supposed to be faster than the normal purple boost. This is true, however, the game leaves out one small detail. Out of habit, most people instantly slam on the acceleration almost as soon as they hit the zipper. This is wrong, doing so will (in my experience) not give you ANY faster of a boost and may even be slightly less useful. The trick is to keep the acceleration button unpressed UNTIL the green boost dissapears (goes multicolred). Doing so will give you even a bigger boost. Using this tip, winning the race with everyone should be no problem, aside from the characters with horrid turning (Crunch, Banjo, etc).

This is me playing Diddy Kong Racing for the Nintendo 64. I'm racing the first race against Wizpig with Diddy to prove it's not so hard if you use the zippers right, as well as to prove the DS version ruined this race.

You guys remember when you get the 4 medallion to race him right? Lmfao, my dad told me I dropped the controller and ran away when the Wizpig mountain started talking. Wizpig was a nightmare... I love Rare and Nintendo for it so much though... They just don't make games like these anymore :(

HERE's the TRICK: you have to RELEASE your finger from the A button when you pass on the zipper (turbo) e DO NOT (!!!) press the A again until the smoke is gone (if you press the A right after you pass on the turbo, you kill the turbo) THAT's IT!!!!

Don't forget to honk your horn in the process to go faster, especially while the gas smoke appears. Honk until the gas smoke disappears and

you'll notice the difference.

OMG!!!! I remeber how much Wizpig has frustrated me whenever i tried beating him. I have never hated on a game character as much as Wizpig before. In fact I remeber one time i had a dream where wizpig was a giant chicken instead and my vehicle was a plane. Also whenever he jumped he wouldnt go straight. Instead he would go to the side which made it easier for me to beat him!!!!! XD!!!!! FUCK U WIZPIG!!!!!!!!!
