  • @MrWilb1 You take a stock bike, you cut the back-end off and weld on a rigid one, take off all the bits that add weight and you have a bobber. Bobbers were, initially, plain bikes stripped of everything that wasn't truly necessary, in order to save weight.

  • the back half was''bobbed'' or cut off and rewelded and or fabricated into a hardtail [no springs rear end] had one the same year mine was green with pearl ,and a hand stitched solo seat and tool box, afraid of it and what might happen so a week after getting it completely rewired by ''Shakey'' in Cattletsburg Ky. I sold it.
