  • He says:

Let Tux know that was called DOS :P

    I'm brazilian ^^

  • This CM means ...

    DOS running on OS/2(with penguin)

    Windows running on OS/2(with bear)

DOS and Windows run together if it is OS/2.

Personal computer software where DOS and Windows run together.

  • Deixa o Tux saber que foi chamados de DOS :P

  • Eu não entendo o português.Eu sinto muito.

  • its hard to understand but is way better than windows

  • Actually I've seen ATMs around the world that still use OS/2 so I guess its still in use in some professional enviroments, I remember that near my house we used to have an OS/2 ATM and then it was upgraded with a windows one, since then sometimes you can find it with a fatal error, so the OS/2 one was more stable.

  • @yasu999 And DOS/Windows apps don't even know about that ;)

  • what did I get from this commercial?

pedobear loves Tux, and horny asians love to kidnap them both

  • It probably would have helped IBM if they had more commercials here in the U.S. on OS/2 for the average consumer. There were some who was interested in it, but due to not enough information on it they went to Microsoft.

  • Since when was tux the mascot for tux? =[

  • too bad it can't be open sourced, cuz ibm had it had too many ms code in it. we can say that ms do have the best software engineer at that time....

  • USA

  • Ob das nicht auch an der charmanten jungen Dame liegt... ? ;-)

  • Die Werbung hat sehr viel Charme.

  • USA. IBM=international business machines

  • OS/2 by IBM was a very efficient operating system. It was fast even on the older processors and it could run anything that you installed on it. If an app crashed, it was the only thing that crashed. The operating system remained running and recovered nicely. If you were the developer, you could even get dumps to help you understand why the app failed. It's too bad IBM couldn't market the thing properly. It would have been a Microsoft-beater.
