How to cheat Microsoft Windows MineSweeper

A basic tutorial on how to win MineSweeper on Microsoft Windows. If the video doesn't help or you'd prefer written instructions, here they are:

Cheat Engine 6.1 is now out! Go to http://cheatengine.org to get it.

1.) Open MineSweeper and Cheat Engine (preferably 5.5, 5.6, 6.0, 6.1), if you don't have cheat engine you can get it at http://cheatengine.org

2.) Go to the top and click 'Game', then select 'Options'

3.) Now change the amount of mines to 10, remember to click OK

4.) Go to Cheat Engine and find the process 'MineSweeper.exe', select it

5.) Then change the value type to 'All (Byte to Double)'

6.) Search for the value: 10 and click First Scan

7.) Go back to 'Options' in MineSweeper and change 10 to 11

8.) Search for the value: 11 in Cheat Engine (click 'Next Scan')

9.) Again, Go back to 'Options' in MineSweeper, this time change 11 to 12

10.) Repeat 8.), but search for 12

11.) You should have 6 values left

12.) Select them all and click the red arrow button

13.) Freeze all the addresses in the bottom area and change the values to 0

14.) Make a new game and see what happens!
