Hmmmm.....interesting. On his website it says in the 70's he's was "a well-known, top tournament competitor on the East Coast." But when I looked in the history records his name does not appear in any major tournaments. And my teacher Albert Cheeks fought all up and down the East Coast back in the 70's. All the old heads know who he is cause they either fought him or saw him fight but this guy name is no where to be found.
So what tournaments did he compete in back in the days?

master giacobbe is one of kind!!! he was my master for 10 years and is the BEST,not only at karate but, as a friend!!! also his sister ms.barbra tought me karate when I was a child. His whole family are totally wonderful people!!!! I miss and love you guys sooo much!! hopefully ill see you soon? this is michael shields, TANG SOO!!

Is the Master Stan Smith mentioned here the same Sensei Stan Smith who runs the Traditional Karate and Aikido dojo in Las Vegas, Nevada?

Yes, He still teaches most of the classes. He has moved from laurel plaza. But is still on Blackwood-clementon rd. The Tang Soo Karate Academy now has a large gym attached. So parents and others can workout while kids or friends are in karate class.
