Video investigating a fairly obscure fault on my 1966 Daf 32. What seemed to be an occasional brake locking, complete with squealing rubber and swerving to the side, turned out to be a vacuum leak on the transmission causing the driver side belt (the faulty side - left of screen) to change down much faster than the other and causing serious engine-braking to one side only!.
Hey, I know how you could fix the problem: Demount both hoses from the primary variomatic gearbox and blow air with your mouth in it, wenn the air comes out of the other hose, the membrane is faulty. When the oil in the gearbox is old, then it will get thoughenig and block the mechanic. When you need help, try to ask in the daffodil forum. Greetings
