The city lights of Roanoke, Virginia are seen from atop Mill Mountain at the site of the Roanoke Star, the world's largest standing man-made star, which was erected in 1949. The star is shown during the day and then at night with its neon lights aglow. Downtown Roanoke is lit up as well, including Wachovia Tower, its tallest building, and St. Andrews Catholic Church. Footage shot November 17 & 18, 2008.

Great job!! Nothing beats looking down on the entire city at night.... But, next time we'll go up there when it's warmer than 25!
