Performance of "It Don't Hurt" by Lisa O'Kane accompanied by the writer of the song, Ernest Troost, in The Campfire Sessions - a live six-camera webcast that I produced and directed in March 2007 at Kulak's Woodshed. Lisa has one of those beautiful and powerful voices that grabs you right from the first note. She sings on the darker side - painting a world filled with heartbreak and brutality - something to be survived and overcome. Those of us who know her can attest that she has a wonderful light within her, and a great sense of humor too! You can find Lisa online at: www.myspace.com/lisaokane
I think that it is on Lisa's last CD.

Beautiful singing. Great collaboration. Ernest is a great story teller as a songwiter.

This is a deceptively simple song that works brilliantly, thanks to a golden voice and the fine lyrics. I have to find the CD this in on!
