Africa is a continent rich of resources and natural beauty. Unfortunately people only associate the continent with wars, genocide and famine. Africans are resilient, innovative and talented people. Gloria Wavamunno, a young fashion designer decided to move back home to Uganda after studying in the UK to help change how Africans are perceived. Last year she was invited to showcase her designs at South Africa's inaugural Fashion Week. Gloria uses Katenge cloth (African cotton) and materials from across the continent to shape her beautiful pieces. She's definitely a talent to watch.
