DDR Super Nova!

The announcement of DDR SuperNOVA in the United States came as no surprise today, with plenty of notes and tidbits already disclosed from the ATEI. However, the buzz around the largest DDR mix to ever be launched was very tangible at Konami's Gamers Day in San Francisco this morning. A keynote address by Yoshihiko Ota, Executive Producer of Dance Dance Revolution noted that the United States should see Supernova populating arcades across the country this Spring. Furthermore, he noted that a European launch of the same game would follow. Lastly, Japan would see SuperNOVA in the arcades to complete the worldwide launch.

SuperNOVA touts a very robust, entirely new engine that makes for sleeker gameplay, new art style backgrounds, and a 300-plus songlist with over 2000 step patterns. New dancers and motion-captures give SuperNOVA even more eye candy than previously offered. From a functionality standpoint, Battle Mode, reminiscent of Disney's Rave/Disney's Mix wil be available, as will Oni and Nonstops. The game will support home version connectivity features, and user-created step data will be playable in the arcade.

NAOKI has a lot of singers. He rarely ever sings/raps himself. Only songs he sings are "Gorgeous 2012" and "Get Wild."

NAOKI's singers/rappers include Paula Terry, Argie Phine, Robbie Danzie, Tahirih Walker, JP Miles, Aaron G., Londell Hicks, jun, and Riyu Kosaka.
