And if you decide to become a pharmacist (& youre not in a 0-6 program) youre going to need a good amount of hours shadowing and volunteering anyways.

@googooly68 You need to be sure that pharmacy is what you want to do. The schooling is very difficult and stressful. If you arent strong-willed, you wont make it. My pharmacy school has an accelerated program, 3 years professional instead of 4. We did 19 credits every 10 weeks (the 10th week being finals). There were many people that didnt make it. Its also expensive, so before you pay all that money for tuition and all the other expenses, its probably best to know what you want first.

@chickenmonkeyllama Hospital is much more relaxed and less stressful then retail. I work in retail and Im definitely going to switch to hospital in a few years. Retail pharmacy can drain a person of life!

what if you are good at science and you get good grades but you are not sure if you really like it ! should you still consider being a pharmacist ?
