This Makes more sense to me than any other.
It made me a better musician, a better guitarist and above all it gave me a god to worship.
Holdsworth is the best, only if i could play like him; Not a chance of that ever happening.
Holdsworth has super music powers that i don't have.

Yes his music is not for everyone But for those musicians looking for more: carefully listen to the chord progressions in the intro and bridges, there is structure and melody. His solos are unique and consider that he has been playing a very long time with many groups and musicians, so his music must evolve. He has no ego and for those who think it is "cocky" elaborate on this please ....

at first you think "nah, he's all chords," and then he launches into his solo, and he just rips that thing up. I cannot even begin to comprehend his musical genius; the notes he just pulls out simply elude me; I'm still stuck in my lame-ass pentatonics and myxolydians...

@84eugenie This made me lol...then contemplate on it...then realize that holdsworth has been doing this stuff since the 70s :| this dude has gotten faaaar even since the near post-industrial age where guitar manufacturing was the craze.

Yo, many great memories of this and other holdsworth tracks from the past, over the years. This one reminds me of my last girlfriend. Alans music helped me get through 15 years of schizophrenia. Im cured now, and it was the healing power of his chords structures and music that done it im sure! Memories of listening to this going to county chess matches whilst I was a schizophrenic, and my ex girlfriend. I've been listening to him since 1995. Bye bye schizophrenia

Allan Holdsworth. The first information age guitarplayer.
sin duda esta es la mejor versión de Looking Glass, aúnque haya muchas buenas, pero me quedo con esta. El desarrollo del diálogo improvisativo es gigante!!
