Im making the movie one I hope anyways in spandex and black glue with green LED bullet holes. The use of acrylics and pva make the rigid Necroplasm flexible but I need to harden the suit a little with glue for the snug fit, Thanks for the reply Infernau. Ur an inspiration.

what do you make this stuff out of?

if using the hot glue casting method, how would you paint it to give the effect that it's leather?

I'd have to mess around with colors to get period right colors, not all leathers are textured so that part's up in the air

can you pour the glue just flat on? oh and by the way im pretty sure that in order to keep the glue from sticking you can slather the mold with some sort of oil base

the oil doesn't always work 'cause the intense heat of the glue sometimes make it evaporate right away, you're best bet is simply soaking the cast in water (submerge it) for about an hour, then dry it off quick with a towel and pour the glue ( the plaster will absorb some of the water and make it super simple to remove the finished product from the mold.

Do you still recommend the Hot glue on an heating element process so the glue is like liquid as I am thinking of investing in one to help make spawns necroplasmic armour. Mixing it with a little wood glue and acrylics.
This makes the casting process quicker than trigger squeezing on the guns or did you go back to the guns??
The flairs seem flexible so I imagine the casts have a little give.
Can't wait to see this one in full mate. :D

yeah I have no problems with the heating element method, I've never mixed anything though.
