Gaming In Linux : Doom 3

Native Linux game Doom 3, I was running a windows version of the game in wine 1.2, But you can find out how to install the Linux version here : http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/linux/doom/
The game is awesome and even though it was not shown in the video, is very scary! Tends to be in lists of 'scariest games of all time' so is a must get for horror gamers!

does it have better performance than in windows? i mean, its an openGL engine, and linux prefers openGL over directx

I believe that there should be more OpenGL games like Doom 3 and Prey. For now I won't lose faith for OpenGL.
