  • I remember my first walkman, and an 8-track deck was the s"#t back then on the early 80´s, on the 90´s was my Minidisk on the 2k´s is my PSP...then apple start with those filthy i-pots, now I´m saving for a Sony playstation VITA...

  • To hell with CDs and MP3s!

Vinyl and Cassettes are for me!

  • I still have a shit ton of cassettes and VHS.

  • lol I remember VHS/cassette.

    Ahh the bad old days.

  • I use one of those cassettes that have an aux cable.

  • sony's a legend

  • ... Low operation, production, and labor costs also help. Recently, China has actually been taking success out of the rest of Asia and becoming very successful at lowering production costs to an extreme never before thought possible.

  • the cd's are also gone now... think about the mp3 music file... thats stored inside the memory of an ipod.. mass storage!! that leaves the cd in the dust.. all i have in my truck is an ipod an auxilary cable n the trucks stereo.. VIOLA!!! technology at its finest!! btw i love these shows lol

  • Most of the fundamental technology behind all these products was not invented in Japan but elsewhere....and taken over by the Asian Manufacturing Companies. Revolutionary no...evolutionary yes. Good engineering, smart business and advanced marketing equals success.

  • Thankfully, the cassette tapes are gone because they wear over time, and of course the cd's don't. They are perfect. That cd I have has scratches, and it skips wonderfully. I enjoy cds so much better. Can't you tell?

When is the next technology coming out so they replace cds, and every new technology product will be $30 each plus the device to play it on. Is technology grand? It's a way for them to make more money constantly.
