Ax10 with waterproof Traxxas ESC and servo, 2.4ghz spektrum rx/tx, Novak 55 lathe. Next I plan to install a hotter motor, 20-30 turns or so. Maybe then I can jump it a lil. I want a track with rocks, jumps, mud, water....
the link ends are the weak point, but my kit came with spares, also, i bought the offset link ends which came with extra straight ends. a lot of people i've talked to say they break their ends and I mostly find that they rub somewhere, this scores the plastic and makes a weak point. Just like any RC it is important to make sure everything clears (especially with identical repetitive movement)
Look up on youtube "holmes 7T". There's a guy who crawls an obstacle and takes a few reverses, then he clears the obstacle by jumping it. The more tricks you have up your sleeve, the better you can get around.
Aside from that, have you ever seen full-scale rock racing? Not crawler comp, but races? I'd like to make a class like that where jumping is an option.
@sdwilliams777 rock crawler parts expensive lol

I see...but thats the main reason why i think jumping them is a sketchy idea

I have an AX10 too...but the plastic pieces that connect the arms to the chassy are kinda weak

What kind do u have? My AX10 is tough, all I had to change were the knuckles and center skid plate and I've fallen off rocks over my head

but, they are soooo fragile

Besides, jumping anything is just plain cool!
