THE RUNDOWN:
NIGHT 1:
I see mouse in our room at 9:00ish.
I cant find any cats to get it at that point in time. They are off on adventures.
I go to sleep, wary of the mouse, but too tired to sleep on the couch.
THE MORNING:
The only cat we can locate is the lazy one, seco.
We put her in the room and take the mattresses off because I'm convinced it's under my sister's bed.
It is. It's a baby mouse.
Seco just wants to play with it, and it eventually the mouse is stuck behind the dresser.
My entire family is annoyed that the cat didn't do its job and catch the damn mouse.
We leave it be for a day, the cats are too FAT to go behind the dresser.
NIGHT 2:
Later that night, I hear scratching behind the dresser. It's the mouse.
As soon as I leave the room at like 2:00 in the morning, I hear something fall over.
Xena, the hunter, apparently had knocked over the garbage can. She has the mouse in her mouth.
She takes it under the dining room table. I can see it is already dead.
She probably snapped its neck like a GOOD CAT
She performed her duties perfectly, UNLIKE her sister!
I shoo her outside and she takes the mouse with her.
THE END (and no more mouse)
I wish I had video of the actual capture, but it was at 2 in the morning, and it was all very fast. And I was way too annoyed and sleepy. Oh and isn't the mouse so cute!! Too bad, it was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I wonder, would a snake have gotten it?
