Richard Garriotts legendary estate in northwest Austin comes to life this Halloween with a unique event that awakens a legendary haunted house for a good cause. Scare for a Cure is creating a full-contact interactive adventure to benefit the Breast Cancer Resource Centers.
From 1988 to 1994, Richard Garriotts Britannia Manor was famously known as the most elaborate haunted house in the country. But for the past 15 years the venue has remained dormant. Finally in 2009 the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas and SCARE for a CURE are bringing the estate in northwest Austin back to life with twisted demons, blood-lust, and a mob of vampires on a quest for world domination.
