NO use the term minority till your heart is content. When you say those SAME homes are in forclosure you make it sound as if the minorities are the reason for the housing crisis.

Again, I must point it out to you that the backs in question were giving out those same HIGH RISK loans to white folks for the most part while at the same time turning down minorities who were just as qualified for those sam high risk loans. What ACORN did was make sure that the banks acted fairly. That is all.

Also, all of this pie in the sky foolishness sounds soooo good in words but the reality is... acorn has enabled far too many people to live far beyond their means and that dumps on those who are using their heads. Stupid people come in ALL colors. The debts it leaves on us is pretty color blind as well.

Lungyao1 ---I used the term 'minority' because you did. Hopefully repeating your phrase doen't get me branded as racist...I'm a Mexican. The people who took high risk loans (black,white, brown, yellow, red and whatever else) without the strong arm tactics of acorn would have been denied.. With the amount of liberal class envy shoved onto people who already have a mentality of entitlement (such as my own kids) how can they be expected not to take the handout w/ no forethought of consequence?

Also, ALL of those cases you mention are indivisuals who do wrong. The organization as a whole is doing the right thing for the people they serve. I was appalled at the whorehouse issue, but I used critical thinking to realize that I should not label the whole organization. ACORN will still be here long after they help the people register to vote in there best interest in 2012, love it and like it buddy.

Acorn simply demanded thatt banks give the same high risk loans to minorities as they were giving to every one else. I hope you do not think it fair that they only wanted to give loans to white people, do you? Also it should be pointed out that the homes belonged to people who took high risk loans, most of whom were NOT minorities! Please do not imply that minorities are the reason for the home forclosures because they only represented a smal fraction of the debt.

lung--I am not believing your argument---that's some twisted thinking man. Does it matter what year it was????This bunch helped minorities get homes they couldn't afford by strong arming banks and those SAME houses are now in foreclosure...families are now HOMELESS...come on man what good did acorn do.
