Manba and Yamanba both came from the Ganguro style; however Manba and Yamanba are not to be confused. Yamanba has white make-up only above the eye, while Manba has makeup below the eye as well. What you've done is more of a Manba. You are correct saying Yamanba died down, but it has been making its comeback quickly.

Now i am engaged to a japanease man, and we go to japanease festivals, where people dress up an anime , yamanba, angeleek and manba, i'm purely watching this video so i can dress up as one next time. I wish it was a dying breed if not already dead here in america,where this fashion originated as an imitation.I'm glad japanese girls aren't stupid enough to really tan,but the white girls here just need to stop it.They don't seem to care or think that they can get skin cancer like many of my customers do.Bleach is bad for your hair too.Our white sisters wind up looking like a plumper mummy.It's very hideous.But I still admire the japanese for being bold.
