:( sad thing about a game shuttin down - u dont know who else you could have met or made friends with. Sigh if only the game went on a little longer.

Also in rpgs unless we all use the same nickname we might run into an old friend amd never know it :(

Well on the plus side nyuzero's server is coming along nicely so far, people can actually login and hangout in the lobby (no missions yet). And they apparently logged 9gigs of data b4 the official servers went sigterm.

And PSO2, next year maybe...? We'll see...

doubt there will be any private servers for a loonng time. unless there was a team of very dedicated and VERY talented programmers working on it.

Yes there are people working on it but there constantly running into problems. It probs will one day happen, but if you thing... it took WOW a good 2 years for private servers to star cropping up, and thats WOW. as much as i love Phantasy star, you have to admit WOW has a LOT bigger fan base.
