Lake Ruataniwha, New Zealand. Autumn/early winter. Calm, overcast skies, still mirror-like conditions on the water. Float plane flying offers a sublime dimension to RC flying, requiring discipline and control in take-off and landing, with smooth gentle flying in the sky for aesthetics.

  • Thank you for your kind words. Wingspan 61". Distributed under the Thunder Tiger brand. It comes with undercarriage but you can buy optional floats as you can see. It's ABS plastic - v suitable for water. Power - GMS 47 2 stroke with an OS 4-55 size PowerBox muffler (right size to fit cowl/fuz).
