Thanks man! Dad was a Chrysler mechanic for years, and was telling me about the 426 Max WedgeII! "best kept secret there was.." haha! He said it would do anything a 426 Hemi would do, only quicker! I 'spose the elephant won out in the marketing aspect out of popularity.He also said the only car he drove on their're lot, that scared the crap outa him was a 440 six pack Super Bird! Wish I could have been there for that!! Thanks for you're time and take care, Clint.

I once got to drive a boat with the 426 Wedge. I punched it from a rolling start, and thought the trans was slipping for a whole block. Turned around and saw the tire tracks. Pure power!

A friend of mine had a scary fast 426(not sure if it was a wedge) . Even though he drove many fast muscle cars as a mechanic he said that was one of the scariest fast cars he'd ever driven!! Cost him a lot of tires too!! lol

Sorry. Don't know but you may be right. Everything shakes when he idles by you. I saw the car at a cruise night in Orleans, Ontario. He comes out often on nice evenings. When I see him again I'll ask.
