Shit, I bought my 79 5.0 for $900 out of the salvage yard. Not wrecked, running and driving condition, with a 302 V8, Edelbrock 600cfm 4bbl, Torker intake, Accel dis. and 8mm wires, Full 2.25" duals with and x-pipe and cherry bombs, 3-speed auto with a shift kit, a/c delete, smog delete, electric fan all that. Only needs a new radiator (small leak), and little tune up shit. Less body work than that.

ya man i just bought a 5.0 done to the tits for 1800 get rid of that b4 u regret it and buy a cheepo 5.0 for like a grand if not but a 4 banger and find a 302 and stick a carb on it they're all over the place one of the most common engines.
