Supra Mg @ 20 psi, MT drag radials no burnout vs. 06 GTO on slicks and nitrous. MG wins by a few cars but the GTO was quicker than I expected.

  • Fantasic achievement! I would never have even guessed that combination possible. DId you have to fully restore the chassis and body first or was it already a minter?

  • The front suspension is all stock, while the rear suspension is subframed with a 4-link and coil-over shocks. The car was rust free when I started so it was in fairly good shape. The stock "frame" has been enhanced by the addition of the roll cage and a couple of other bars in the floorboard. Thanks for the comment

  • Thanks for the comment starchybunker

  • I think you may well be my hero! Nice

  • Thanks for the kind words

  • I was originally going to put a GN motor in it, had the motor, trans and everything. After buying a 95 Supra I changed my mind and did the 2JZ instead. I ran it in the 1/4 with a horrible 60' and slipping all over the track it went a 12.28 at 131 mph I think. I'm working on getting the suspension tuned better so I can post some better times.

  • @alexthepalix MG's use a unibody design.

  • 5.7 GTO or 6.0?

  • Haha, I love all the messing around the GTO does while the BGT just sits there patiently waiting to wipe the floor with it :')

  • still got the GN motor?

  • Very nice. I have a triumph spitfire which I brought a mazda mx5 engine /gearbox and supercharger kit for, When I finish sorting my house the car will be getting an install. Not quick as yours but quick enough I suspect. Love your car :-)

  • Nice GT, I love the alloys, where can I find them / what are they called?

  • @spooledmgbgt Don't worry, the chassis was assembled by BL employees - it'll fall apart eventually all by itself, and the engine will run free again. (again, just ribbing - I'm an ex Triumph guy)

  • good shit mate just seen another race of yours, owning a corvette is not a easy task.

How heavy is the car with you in it?

  • Good proyect
