Acoustic... NO... Chet played electric guitar for 20 years until some Acoustic Nazis blullied him into it. You can't hear those wonderful licks on an acoustic (many of them done with a Bigsy Tailpiece that wouln't fit on a flat-top.)
Chet was a hero to all of us... back when a good guitarist played ELECTRIC guitar.
I wish they would have taken the time to synch the video with the audio better. It is off and is most obvious in the early part where he dips his vibrato.
All of the videos in this series suffer from that sloppiness, some clips worse than others...
that sounds like st. louis blues but im not 100% sure
