  • "I Am a Woman-Educated Physician"?

That quote should read: "I am a cold blood-educated butcher"

  • IM AN ATHEIST AND IM GLAD THIS SICK FUCK IS DEAD.

  • All I ever here on the topic of abortion is "I'm christian and you're killing babies because my pastor said you are and scripture somewhat claims such a thing is wrong, although it's subject to interpretation and has been translated through several different languages and Jesus loves me so I'm right...." And all I have to say to these people is "Idiots" I believe in Jesus, I believe he forgives, loves and sacrificed himself for humanity. Because he knew humans couldn't do it on their own. LOVE!

  • @IrenaPrude My point is, you're really not improving the image of your religion by portraying your God as having no qualms with wanton murder.

  • @shinobi67 I don't know the details of his death, but like I said, I am not excusing whoever killed him at all. Violence is almost never the answer, and murder is definitely never the answer. And I agree that no one deserves to be murdered in cold blood; but the Bible does state that those who live by the sword should die by the sword. (I.E., murder should have the death penalty) But it should not be performed by angry citizens, it should be performed by officials AFTER a fair trial.

  • @SaltwaterAir1 While he was a fully grown man, more than likely able to at least defend himself in a fair fight, the circumstances that lead to his death weren't exactly fair. And, personal opinion here, no one deserves to be murdered in cold blood. Just know that I'm not going to point fingers at the entire pro-life movement for this. I have many friends who are pro-lifers, there are moderates and radicals on both sides. In fact, wasn't the shooter schizophrenic?

  • @SaltwaterAir1 Thanks for at least being respectful, it's nice to know that there are people on "the other side" who still are. And I'm not trying to say that the children of all rape victims are a source of psychological harm. I'm just trying to outline some of the other reasons that people would choose to have the procedure carried out. They're not all selfish. But as for Tiller, wasn't he just randomly shot in the head while attending a church service with his family?

  • @shinobi67 Not excusing the killer at all you understand. Just saying it's less enraging. And I have to confess, it's a little comforting that the abortion side has lost such a big advocate...though it would have been better if he had turned pro-life instead of been murdered...sorry if I am talking in circles.

  • @shinobi67 I respect your opinion, and I can see where you're coming from. However, I've heard that in the cases of rape and incest, the child can bring healing to the mother. Take a look at Jaycee Dugard's experience for example. As far as getting angry about Tiller's death, I do not uphold murder at all. However George Tiller was quite a bit less defenseless than the unborn babies he aborted, so it (to me) is quite a bit less outrageous.Besides, he took so many lives, he kinda deserved it.

  • @SaltwaterAir1 In cases of rape and incest, the pregnancy would bring all manner of undue psychological harm on the woman in question. While I support adoption in such circumstances myself, it's not my right to deny her a procedure if she's sure that she wants to go through with it. (And for the record, I'm talking about first trimester abortions, anything after that is a bit too disturbing).
