Space Shuttle Era: NASA's Shuttle Landing Facility

The Shuttle Landing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida has marked the finish line for space shuttle missions since 1984. The facility is staffed by air traffic controllers who work at a unique air and spaceport.
