  • You have a great setup. I reload for my .308 bolt action using a single stage press. I also use the Sierra 168 HPBT and Varget. I thought Varget smells strange, it actually can make my stomach sick. I use 43.2 grains.

I am considering reloading for my RR .308 semi-auto. To get more speed, I am thinking of buying a progressive press like your Dillion. Or I just might limp along on my trusty single stage. Great video.

  • @PatriotPrepper I was single stage for a long time. I still use it for making very accurate rounds. Once you go to a progresive press there is know turning back. It is an ugly cycle you will be craving for more brass, powders, bullets and any thing else you can feed threw it. I am thinking of selling my press to a friend and moving into the 1050 because I get so much nato brass. Thanks for stopping in

  • Looks like you have all the bells and whistles.

What press did you use before this one?

To get into reloading, do you recommend starting with one like this, or a simpler model?

  • @harley96cube Hey Harley. I recomend hooking up with someone who is reloading and learn the ins and outs and then go for it. If I had it to do all over I would have learned from peaple around me and gon strait to a progesive machine. I opoligise for the delayed responce.

  • Size then trim!!!!!

  • heh, that thing sounds like a giant candy machine operating.

  • Hey Kevin, great videos. I was wondering if you would consider doing one on proper gun cleaning that would include technique, products, etc?

  • geezus this seems like far too much work...and WAY too much money in equipment. i'd have to shoot 100x more to justify all of this cost.

  • Any problems reloading the HK brass ??

  • deam that dillon is fast machine..i want one too

  • thanks nice vid

  • Kevin, your 223 vid was a great help in getting me started reloading 223 on my 650 and i just got my conversion kit to start reloading the 308 win for my m1a NM, next time I'm in town i would buy you a beer. thank much!
