Nope, The Road warrior is the more common title of the movie. I've got it on VHS and I just picked up a dvd twin pack that has the road warrior and Mad Max: beyond the Thunderdome on it. Older versions of the VHS show it as Mad Max 2: The road warrior but later versions just had The Road Warrior.

Well, it was Primarily known as "The Road Warrior" only in the U.S.

Anywhere else, it was titled "Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior" or simply "Mad Max 2"
