The Plant is approximately five kilometres from Kilcunda Oceanview Holiday Retreat.
The plant is sited in South Gippsland on the Bass Coast, ninety minutes drive from Melbourne. Wonthaggi is the nearest regional centre, located between the holiday resorts of Phillip Island and Inverloch and not far from the famed Wilsons Promontory National Park. The whole area is family friendly with a host of recreational activities.
The Victorian public deserves to know why the Victorian Government did not carry out a proper Environmental Effects Statement (EES).
